Hematology and Oncology

ECU Hematology and Oncology division provides treatment and research opportunities for rare cancers and blood diseases including sickle cell, cancer and hemophilia. We also treat all hematologic disorders including disorders of the immune system. Additionally, we offer Child Life Practicums for ECU students who have successfully completed the Introduction to Child Life and Hospitalized Child courses.

We are committed to our patients, both inside and outside of the clinic. We provide lectures to primary care provider groups and host annual sickle cell and hemophilia conferences. We also provide community outreach and patient support through our Rainbow Services program. This program aims to help pediatric patients with cancer, sickle cell disease, hemophilia and other chronic blood disorders and their families achieve a brighter outlook.
