Invest in the future of Eastern North Carolina

In a perfect world, children would not suffer from pain, chronic illness, or acute health complications. They would spend their childhood disease-free, instead of confined to hospital beds. More so, Eastern North Carolina children would not face increased health disparities or lack resources and access to cutting-edge care.

We need your help. We are currently seeking partners to fund high quality medical research and health education. Your gifts will allow our physicians to:

• Pilot health research targeted at improving ENC children’s health
• Train students in research and health sciences
• Collaborate with scientists from around the country and around the world to make sure our children receive the best care possible.

Pediatric Research Medical Foundation donations go towards six priority areas in need of support:

• Young Investigator Initiative – Supporting junior faculty members and medical trainees to build pilot studies and attend research conferences
• Innovative Research – Fund initial preparatory work from PURE’s faculty to apply for grant funding
• Educational Symposiums – Sponsoring events to increase community awareness of health and research
• Sustainable Growth – Establish an endowed chair for pediatric research

Every gift will make a difference in the lives of Eastern North Carolina children. Smaller donations can be made to our general fund. Child Health Champions Gala

Each year, we recognize an individual who has gone above and beyond in their commitment to improving the lives of children in eastern North Carolina through service, advocacy, leadership, and impact at our annual Child Health Champion Gala. The Gala raises money to fund pilot studies, support research trainees, and community outreach.
