Endocrinology and Diabetes Care – Research

ECU Pediatric Endocrinology’s research focuses on providing novel therapeutic agents to children with diabetes and improving the delivery of care to patients in rural settings. Recent projects include examining the impact of patients’ distance to the clinic on diabetes management and improving the quality of care provided to diabetes patients presenting to the emergency department.
