General Pediatrics – Education and Training

The division provides education to on-site learners (high school and college students, medical students, Pediatric/Med-Peds/Family Medicine/Psychiatry/Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation residents) in the outpatient and inpatient settings, including General Pediatrics Clinic, Adolescent Medicine Clinic, Healthy Weight Clinic, TediBear Clinic and newborn nursery.

Residents and students are taught by patient interactions in the outpatient and inpatient settings as well as the nursery. Didactic lectures are provided in the outpatient and continuity clinics. CME lectures are provided to ECU and community physicians through Pediatric Grand Rounds either in person or via Webex.
