Pediatrics Residency – Maynard Global Health Fund

in support of Educational Global Health Experiences for Pediatric Resident Physicians

Funding

Funding is provided by the generous support from the Department’s Maynard Endowment for residents participating in global health educational experiences.

Selection

The Pediatric Residency Program Director will identify all residents planning global health travel experiences during the academic year and submit a proposal to the Pediatric Executive Leadership Team.

Criteria

Global health experiences must involve pediatric patients. Experiences that are exclusively or predominantly pediatric will take priority. A goal of the trip must be medical service and/or education. There must be appropriate supervision available for care delivered by residents participating in global health experiences. Residents receiving full travel support from another source are not eligible. Residents can design their own global health experience.
