Hematology and Oncology – Research

Our hematology research focuses on novel therapeutics for sickle cell disease, hemophilia, and thrombosis, alternative pain management, and health care transition. In addition, we are a part of multiple surveillance and research consortia, including the American Thrombosis and Homeostasis Network (ATHN) for bleeding and coagulation disorders. Our division of oncology is a proud member of Children’s Oncology Group, which is the leading consortium of pediatric oncologist. Most children with cancer are treated with their clinical-translational trials.
