Endocrinology and Diabetes Care – Education and Training

Our providers educate medical students; residents in Pediatrics, Family Medicine, Emergency Medicine, and Pediatric Dentistry; and fellows in Adult Endocrinology in both the inpatient and outpatient settings. Learners participate directly in patient care and attend didactic lectures. Inpatient duties involve caring for patients in the PICU, in the NICU, and on the Pediatrics Unit, while outpatient duties include evaluating patients in the Endocrinology and Diabetes Clinics under the direct supervision of pediatric endocrinologists. Electives are available for medical students from Brody SOM and other medical schools.
