Endocrinology and Diabetes Care

The division of Pediatric Endocrinology provides comprehensive care for type 1 and type 2 diabetes including new types of medication and insulin, as well as insulin pumps.

Pediatric Endocrinology has received a Certificate of Recognition from the American Diabetes Association (PDF) recognizing the education service of ECU Pediatric Specialty Clinic at Brody School of Medicine as meeting the national standards for Diabetes Self-Management Education awarded for the period of December 1, 2017 – September 1, 2018.

We also conduct a one-week residential camp, “Camp Needles in the Pines” for children with diabetes ages 8 to 14 each July.
